In addition to the floor, the walls and roof must also be well insulated. It's best to look for double walls and a double roof to ensure adequate insulation. Ideally, this looks like the dog house has an outer wall and an inner wall that has an insulating layer in the middle made of materials such as polystyrene, wood wool, sheep's wool or sawdust. The same applies to the roof. It is best to get catchy advice on the properties of the respective dog house before buying. In addition, you should make sure that there are no harmful substances in the materials used. It is therefore best to pay attention to quality seals such as the CE mark. Sharp objects or even protruding nails and edges are also taboo, as your dog can injure them.
