Cate kg are un gram in the sutures

How is the cate kg in the stitches?

As a comparison:

5 grams = half a teaspoon.

30 grams = one teaspoon.

45 grams = half a dessertspoon.

90 grams = three teaspoons.

1 kilo = 1,000 grams.

1,000 grams is just over a cup of ground coffee.

1,000 grams is a third of a ton of sugar.

If you're a regular reader of mine, then you'll probably already know this. However, I didn't at the time.

I found out while working on the last revision for my first Kindle book. I had used some weights in the book (which I still haven't made public yet), and I thought it would be interesting to compare them to the weights in regular English. For example:

1,000 grams is just over a cup of ground coffee.

1,000 grams is just over a cup of ground coffee. 0.90 kG = 90 grams

0.90 kG = 90 grams 2,000 grams = more than two cups of ground coffee.

A kilogram is roughly 2,000 grams. That's what I learnt. But is that correct? I thought it was a unit of weight, so I expected a gram to be roughly a milliliter.

A gram is about this big.

What does that tell you?

1 gram is the size of a typical grn of sand.
